Well, the results of the US Presidential Elections is not so far away anymore as the counting process has begun and it looks like Barack Obama is going to win the post. This cute little widget from MSNBC updates the stats every two minutes and it shows us that Obama is leading by several electoral votes. A candidate only needs 270 electoral votes to win the election and Obama is getting closer to that number. John McCain needs a lot more to recover.

Dubbed as the Best Saturday Night Live skit ever, this SNL Giraffes video which aired on November 1, 2008 made quite a huge craving from the people who missed the show. I tried to search for the video but all I can find is this one claiming to be the actual SNL Giraffe video showcasing giraffes saying something that I don’t really understand. There were a lot of beeps during the run so I was quite certain those were foul words and stuff.

So this is what people are looking for and are desperately trying to watch? And this SNL Giraffe video is the best skit ever? Geez, what’s happening to the world? Watch the video after the jump.

Hollywood actress Kate Winslet wears nothing on the cover of the December 2008 issue of Vanity Fair. It’s nice to see Kate Winslet still looking hot and gorgeous through the years. The 33-year-old British actress shares a lot of things about her fashion sense and her beautiful body.

I often look at women who wear great jeans and high heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, I should make more of an effort. … But then I think, they can’t be happy in those heels.

This is going to sound really weird, but I never had a desire to be famous. I never had huge ambitions - never. I was fat. I didn’t know any fat famous actresses. I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I’m being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid. Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else.

Prison Break is one of the hottest American television series to date. Well, perhaps next to Heroes because the latter is just my fave. Anyway, Prison Break Season 4 Episode 9 has just been released carrying the title Greatness Achieved. I have a couple or more of friends are hooked into the series and who will just faint whenever they see Wentworth Miller’s handsome face. Well, who could blame them?

The first results are in for the 2008 US Presidential Elections. This time coming from the small village of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire. Dixville Notch has a tradition of having everyone vote at midnight so basically the town is the earliest to produce results. Impressive huh. I guess that’s one way of promoting your town, eh. I hope we can learn from Dixville in this area.

And result? Barack Obama 15 votes; John McCain 6 votes. Whew! Obama wins! LOLz.

Well, I guess this result isn’t really indicative of anything, is it? There are still hundreds of towns and villages to count but well, this might say something about Barack Obama’s advantage. Not sure if the Democrats are already celebrating at this very hour.

Diana DeGarmo, that American Idol finalist in Season 3 whom I have rooted for until the end but didn’t win (yeah, it was Fantasia Barrino) has one of the best performances in the entire season of the show with her rendition of the song Don’t Cry Out Loud. I get goosebumps every time I hear this version of hers.

Anyway, before the video, Diana DeGarmo met with Eric the Midget, Natalie Maines (Dixie Chicks singer), Adam Abramson on Howard Stern. I didn’t know what they were discussing about but it’s good to know that Diana DeGarmo is beginning to become very visible at the moment.

The moment my friends convinced me to watch Heroes, I just couldn’t get it off my mind. The story is just amazing and now the Season 3 has started, I cannot allow being left behind. One of my friends commented that Season 3’s Villains theme kinda sucked in more ways than one. But as Episodes 6 and 7 emerged, our opinion on the matter changed.

The arrival of Arthur Petrelli really made things a lot interesting. And now that Peter’s powers are gone, what would happen to the quest of preventing global mishaps from happening? Has Sylar really shifted sides? Who is this Bad Son? Will it be Nathan, Peter, or Sylar?

Legend of the Seeker is a new television series that is based on The Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind. I still haven’t seen the episode but I am dying to watch Legend of the Seeker online for free. Yeah, wishful thinking. But I managed to get a 10-minute preview of the Episode 1 so it’s not bad to know that we can still watch Legend of the Seeker online even for just 10 minutes, right?

A certain man named Kim Clement, who has already (I presume) done a lot of prophecies or predictions in the past has said (or just implied) something about who will be the President of the United States. People are debating who is who since the words and wisdom of this Kim Clement is not quite easy to understand. Will it be Barack Obama or John McCain?

El Cuerpo del Deseo (Body of Desire) is a popular telenovela on ABS-CBN’s noontime block. The series has received a lot of attention which explains the annoyance my Mom feels over the lengthy commercial breaks. The original theme song was sung by Lorena Rojas, Isabel Arroyo herself. The OPM version was sung by OJ Mariano from the Star in a Million fame.

Of course, the highlight of the telenovela is the Cuban hunk Mario Cimmarro playing the role of Salvador Cirenza, whose shirtless appearance in the series induced gasps and stares from the female cast.

Miss Mexico Abigail Elizalde won the Best Swimsuit award in Miss Earth 2008. The swimsuit finals held last Saturday at the Fontana Leisure Resort, Pampanga. Other candidates who competed against Abigail Elizalde include candidates from Canada, Brazil, Colombia, France, Greece, Guam, Netherlands, South Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, and Venezuela.

Miss Philippines Karla Paula Henry also won Miss Earth Fontana 2008. She also won the Miss Photogenic award just recently.
