Wowowee host and famous comedienne, Pokwang, was rumored to have been offended when a Cebu-based reporter allegedly asked her about Survivor Philippines castoff Patani Daño.

“Nandun ako para mag-show, hindi para i-promote ang show ng iba,” says Pokwang on her being turned off by a Cebu-based reporter who asked her about Patani Daño. (PEP.ph)

Pokwang clarified that it was her fans who got really offended by the question since she came to Cebu to promote her show there and not to talk about Patani who is groomed to be Pokwang’s competitor on the other network.

“Actually, hindi ako ang nag-react. Ang nag-react ay yung mga maka-Pokwang. Alam mo naman na marami rin akong fans sa Cebu, sila ang nag-react for me. Ang alam nila, ang itatanong ay tungkol sa show and then bigla ang tanong, out of nowhere, na di related sa show.”

“‘Di naman ako nagagalit na i-compare ako sa iba. Kung may talent yung tao, bigyan natin siya ng chance pero kung di dapat itanong, ‘wag nang itanong kasi di naman related sa nangyayari.”
