Mario Maurer is a Thai teen heartthrob and star of one of the most popular Thai movies of all time IMHO Love of Siam.

Mario Maurer recently bagged the Best Actor award in Cinemanila 2008’s South East Asia Film Competition for Love of Siam. The movie is a 2007 Thai romantic-drama film which became quite popular not only in Thailand but also in other countries such as the Philippines. The movie is quite controversial because it showcases a gay romance between two teenage boys.
