Digital Filipino Club

Whew! I attended a bloggers eyeball last night at the Grand Regal Hotel courtesy of Digital Filipino Club. This is the 2nd bloggers party I have attended so far though the 3rd one is not so far away since I will also be attending the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit this weekend.

Anyway, Janette Toral and the other DFC members graciously initiated this event and I am very much pleased to have attended the event because first and foremost, it’s FREE! Yes, it’s not everyday that you will be spending time or rubbing elbows with Davao’s best bloggers while you feast on delicious gourmet food. Haha.

Secondly, it is just nice to meet the people behind the blogs. I’ve met once again Blogie Robillo, whose Davao Delicious won a recognition for the Most Influential Emerging Blogs of 2008. There were also Kevin from PinoyTeens, Lyle from Pinoy R.N, and Dulce (I presume) from Dulce Negosyante. These are all blogs that are part of the Top 100 blogs for Ratified.org which is owned by Drew dela Serna, who also created the Top 10 Daily posts plugin that I have been using in this blog. And how could I forget Migs who sent me the E-pass for the MBS2? And also those two bloggers who approached me for picture-taking (feeling artista ba?). They said they visit this blog so I am kinda flattered. To Jedmeister and Gagay, thanks for patronizing the bitchiness. Hehe.

Thirdly, I won a 500-peso first bet coupon/ticket in Casino Filipino during the raffle. And though we were struggling to figure out how to use those tickets, we were able to WIN (with Kathy and Jeffrey) on our first ever bet and brought home 500 peso-seso-ses each. Haha! That was just fun.

The DFC Bloggers Eyeball was great. Kudos to the organizers and thanks to PAGCOR for being the major sponsor. Here are the Pictures!

    I guess you did not recognize me but I was the one who spoke representing PAGCOR and I was the one who worked closely with Janette that made the DFC bloggers Event in Davao a reality. :)
