Janina San Miguel is no longer Bb. Pilipinas-World
Janina San Miguel, the Bb. Pilipinas-World winner who became infamous with her ‘ear-splitting’ English, has just stepped down and gave up her crown.
The news says:
A statement from the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) said San Miguel cited as reason for her decision the recent death of his grandfather.
“The untimely demise of her grandfather, among other personal reasons, has caused her undue stress, thus hindering her from fulfilling her duties for the said title,” the BPCI statement read.
Poor Janina. I think she really couldn’t stand the pressure of being a beauty queen which is quite the same reason PBB housemate Zara Aldana quit the post. You know, when you’re not really into being ’sosyal’ and your English isn’t perfect, it’s really hard to survive in a world where your composure is always tested.
Now that Janina is out, 1st Runner-Up Danielle Castaño is now the country’s official representative to the 2008 Miss World beauty pageant in Johannesburg.
