Well, with ABS-CBN getting the Pinoy Fear Factor franchise, GMA-7 also gets to show off Survivor Philippines. Just recently, 18 Pinoy Castaways have already been revealed and they are composed mostly of well, good-looking studs. This is somehow a requirement because ripped abs and fit bodies do look great in torn shirts and shirtless shots once they go dirty in their survival challenges. Sex appeal sells so this is expected.

Hosted by Paolo Bediones, Survivor Philippines is set to air its pilot episode tonight and before that happens, let’s meet the 18 castaways shall we? Nine men and nine women will compete for the title of the sole survivor and win 3 Million pesos in the process. Whew, that’s a big lot! They are stuck in Koh Tarutao island aka Devil’s Island in Thailand. Here are the names of the contestants.
