Marrying A Millionaire - Go Soo & Kim Hyun Joo

After the very successful Spring Waltz, ABS-CBN is eyeing on another Koreanovela hit with Marrying A Millionaire, also known as To Marry A Millionaire. The romantic series will begin on February 18, 2008 replacing the timeslot of Spring Waltz.

Marrying a Millionaire stars Kim Hyun Joo from Glass Slippers and heartthrob Go Soo who was known in his role as Jerome in Green Rose. The TV series is based from the US reality show “Joe Millionaire”. Go Soo is the average working guy who will pretend as a millionaire in the reality show called “Marrying a Millionaire”. Kim Hyun Joo is selected to be a participant in the TV but she knows Go Soo’s real identity because he is her first love back in grade school.

This is going to be another hit for the Kapamilya network.

  7. hello! oo ganda nga ng kdrama n yan. npanood ko n yan lahat. whaT A happy ending… hehe but unfortunately, mejo late na drama n yan since it was done 2005, for now, go soo a.k.a jerome lee, Anthony etc… was doing his military service for now….

    -Actor Go Soo won’t be discharged from the military for a couple months yet, but already people are looking to his comeback — and while most other actors choose to drum up press and make their triumphant returns to celebrity in high-profile films or dramas, Go Soo’s return will be, unusually enough, in theater. Or maybe it’s not so unusual — of all the actors and celebrities summoned to fulfill their civic duty, usually with endless fanfare and bids for attention, Go Soo has been one of the more understated servicemen, remaining low under the media radar. He began his service not long after his last drama, To Marry A Millionaire, wrapped in late January 2006.

    As his release will come at the end of April and the play begins running in May, he’s not giving himself much time to enjoy the break and is jumping right back in the thick of things. In fact, he’ll spend his last leave rehearsing for his role. The play he’s chosen as his return project is The Return of President Eom, to which he was invited to perform upon the recommendation of his acting senior Jo Jae Hyun, whom he met while working on the 2001 SBS drama Piano. According to a source close to Go Soo, “After acting in Piano, Jo Jae Hyun is the senior whom Go Soo most respects.”

    In the play, Go Soo plays the young scapegoat of the titular President Eom; his young, simple-hearted character is reduced to heartbreak and tragedy. Normally I don’t love tragic dramas, but theater is a different beast, and boy would I love to see that.

  25. hindi ako mahilig manuod ng mga telenobelang gaya nito, pero di sinasadyang napanuod ko to at naumpisahan ko pa, until parang nagugustuhan ko. kaya lagi kong inaabangan kahit an2k na ko pinapanuod ko pa rin. Nababadtrip pa nga ako madalas sa attitude ni joana kc lagi nyang inaalipusta si anthony. What i really like in this koreanovela is the story… I think it was unique and interesting. magaling si anthony at si joanna han sa acting esp. d romantic scenes… pero ang pinaka nagustuhan ko sa cast ay si Rachel, i really admire her looks, for me parang anghel sa langit ang mukha nya. i’ve search for her photos over d internet, buti na lang may mga nakuha ako khit konti. Napraning na nga lang sya kay anthony sa sobrang love nya kaso hndi sya nakuhang mahalin ni anthony. kung ako lang naging direktor nito e sila ang gagawin kong magsyota sa ending kasi for me mas bagay sila. di ko lang nagustuhan ang nangyari kay rachael sa ending kasi naging lonely sya and still thinking of anthony. pero si Rachael tlaga pinakagusto ko cast, she is very pretty!!! koreana pala magpapaluwa sa mga mata ko, hehehe.

Nakaainlove si Joanna(Kim Hyun Joo), I hope ipalabas pa yung ibang drama nya like ung Pretty Insoon at City of God. Bakit ngayon ko lang siya nakilala. Naaddict tuloy me sa kanya.
