Ramiele Malubay - Natural Woman - American Idol Season 7

Filipino-American Ramiele Malubay auditioned for American Idol Season 7 in Miami and sang Aretha Franklin’s song entitled Natural Woman. She is only 4′11″ with a very powerful voice. I believe she is going to be a good contender for the title. Simon Cowell didn’t actually like her because she sounded like a hotel singer. But Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson gave her a go. I really want her to be in the Finals. I hope she makes it.

Agh. I think Simon has a thing against Filipinos, although not consciously cause he said that hotel thing about a guy with a falsetto voice in the last season.

Anyway she’s really cute and very Filipino. I’m proud of the way she corrected the pronunciation of her last name. Go Ramiele!
