It was Osang who dug the grave where her career is finally laid to rest.
Detalyadong ikinuwento ng aking ABS-CBN source kung paanong naging dahilan ng “pagkakapaslang” kay Rosanna Roces sa sinalihan nitong teleserye arose from her quirky, if not aberrant work behavior.
Narito ang ilang specifics. May times daw na pinupuntahan pa siya ng production staff sa kanyang bahay egging her on to show up at the schedule taping. At pag nasa set na raw, sakit pa rin ng ulo ang pumayag ang aktres na sumalang. Imbes daw na natutuhog na ang mga sequences nito. Osang would choose to bide her sweet time, letting long hours pass unwisely spent. Kailangan raw siyang suyu-suyuin ng staff, to the point of praising her previous take to the hilt para lang daw ganahan itong magtrabaho.
Pero pakiramdam daw ng buong staff, tila sinasadya na raw ni Osang ang pagiging extremely pasaway. Clearly instructed kung ano ang kanyang blockings, once the cameras started to roll, Osang would consciously do the exact opposite. Take after take tuloy ang nangyayari, extending the taping that would wind up until God-knew-when.
Still another major cause of delay ay ang hindi pagmemorya raw ni Osang ng kanyang mga linya, that would occur in the middle of every take. But the worst, ‘ikaw nga, had yet to come. Hindi ko nga lang alam if the entire staff saw it coming.
All set na raw ang taping, Osang was expected to swoop down on the set. But misfortune of misfortunes, hindi siya sumipot! Well, that proved to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back: they killed her in the story.
Pero kung tutuusin, it was Osang who dug the grave where her career is finally laid to rest.
