GMA reacts to ABS-CBN’s filing a lawsuit against AGB Nielsen

ABS-CBN filed a 63 million peso civil case against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines due to the issue of cheating in the gathering of television ratings. To this, GMA Network gave its official statement.
“GMA Network is concerned about the report that the true ratings of the TV programs as reported by AGB can be manipulated. The accuracy of the ratings of the TV programs is of utmost importance not only to the TV stations but also to the advertisers, ad agencies, and the viewing public.
“For more than four years now, GMA Network has been complaining to AGB about the highly illogical and unexplainable disparity between the cable and non-cable ratings of GMA’s programs, which do not obtain in respect to ABS-CBN’s programs.
“GMA-7 is keenly interested in getting at the bottom of this if there is any basis at all to the said reports.”
A witness allegedly confessed that they were bribed by GMA to watch their shows for 500 pesos.
Geez, this is getting dirty. Personally, I don’t care about the ratings anyway. I watch what I like whether it is popular or not.

Pasensya na kau kung heavy masyado ang words na ginamit ko.. at talaga akoy isang cebuano.. at ang klasmeyt koy nagsabi na ito ang mga karumaldumal na gawain na sinasagawa ng GMA para lumipat ang tao sa kanilang istasyon at doon lamang manood.. Pasensya na kau kung katawa-tawa ang aking sinulat dahil magmumukhang boring ang aking mga sinasabi at walang maniniwala.. kaya ito iniba ko ang istorya ng kaunti.. Pero ang theme na nagsasabing ang “GMA ay NAGBABRIBE” ay nakapaloob pa rin.. pansinin niyo na lang ang date.. diba noon april pa ito.. at ngayong december na.. magagamit na itong ibedensiya laban sa GMA..
