We all know that the contestants of Celebrity Duets are not singers by profession nor even by birth. Some don’t even have the right to sing but perhaps because of the huge amount of text votes, they win. But of course Tessa Prieto-Valdes is not like that. She is a very good singer and she has really belted it out in order to win the contest.

She didn’t rely on text votes. She only relied on her great voice and her uber-amazing set of eyelashes everytime she performs. And it paid off. Tessa won the contest! Can you believe that? (I still can’t believe it)

Tessa won 1 million pesos which she plans to donate equally among 10 charities. Good thing. Dr. Hayden Kho and Jessica Rodriguez-Bunevacz, both equally amazing singers, were Tessa’s rivals for the prize.
