Believe it or not, nearly 200,000 copies of Dieux du Stade 2008 calendar have sold just in 2 weeks. And that still does not include the US release! Wow, that’s impressive. It just goes to show that there are lot of people out there willing to spend bucks just to see pictures of naked rugby boys.

So, why are people buying the calendar like crazy? One factor is certainly the Rugby World Cup, taking in place in France right now. Rugby fans from all over the world must be thinking that buying the French Rugby Players‘ calendar will server as a nice souvenir from France. The other reason could be it’s photographer. Steven Klein has managed to create a new style for the calendar, while keeping it erotic and “less homoerotic”?!
