Sarah Geronimo got a standing ovation from a full audience for her opening number during her recent Sarah in Motion concert last Sept. 7 at the Heritage Forum in Anaheim, California, produced by Alfonso “Tito Al” Chu’s ABC Entertainment, Inc. and Marissa Lucas’ Marissa Entertainment (through Viva Artist Agency).
The opening number was a medley of London Bridge/Here I Come/Deja Vu, followed by Sa Iyo and a Sarah hits medley.
“The 2,200-capacity theater was full-packed,” reported Funfare’s Anaheim DPA “Double A.” “The parking area was full, so other car-owners were forced to park along the side streets. It’s the first time for the Heritage Forum to see this kind of big crowd.”
Here’s the rest of “Double A’s” report:
After her opening numbers, Sarah introduced Raymond Manalo who did a Barry Manilow medley and Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up. Then, Sarah again sang, this time a movie-themes medley and I’ll Be Alright, followed by Kris Lawrence who sang One Last Cry, Because Of You, Paano and Kung Malaya Lang Ako.
Again, it was Sarah’s turn. She did a Top 40 (Jukebox Hits) and introduced Mark Bautista. Together, they sang Kasalanan Ko Ba? Mark then did a solo of Got To Let You Know and Every Now and Then. Sarah did a medley of more of her songs and those of Jam/Smooth/Criminal, before doing an ’80s love songs medley with Raymond, Kris, Mark and Erik Santos who then did a medley of Maging Sino Ka Man, I’ll Never Go and Making of a Champion.
Sarah closed the concert with The Prayer and Forever’s Not Enough. Again, the audience gave her another standing ovation. [Philstar.com]
