ATTY. Michael Templo is the young immigration lawyer, only 30, who was linked to Angel Locsin after he helped her and her companions get a visa for the premiere of their movie, “Angels,” in the U.S. Mike is the youngest of two sons of former singer-actress Mildred Ortega and Ret. Gen. Mitch Templo. The first thing you notice about him is that he looks good enough to be in showbiz himself.

But his pictures don’t do him justice as he looks so much better in person. He admits being attracted to Angel but he says he’s too shy to woo a big star like her.

Mike finished his pre-law in UP then obtained his law degree from Touro Law School in Long Island, New York. He’s a member of the NY State Bar Association, NY State Trial Lawyers Association and NY County Lawyers Association, his practice focuses on immigration and NY litigation matters. As for his mom, Mildred, she did the album “Pretty Little Baby” for Villar Records and appeared in a dozen movies from 1970 to 1973, co-starring with Nora Aunor in “Teenage Escapade,” Ed Finlan with “Happy Hippie Holiday” and Pinky Montilla in “Supergirl” where Mike remembers she was eaten by a giant frog. Her elder son, John is a literature teacher at the UA&P and now plans to produce a retro album for Mildred and other senior singers. We’re happy for Mildred that she has a fulfilling married life with her husband and two sons, unlike some other stars in her batch who’re not as successful and peaceful in their personal lives.
