Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan
Oh my goodness! Another crap copied from a mushy Japanese superhero television series, Shaider. Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan is GMA’s latest conquest. After Marimar, Super Twins, and Lupin, now we have Zaido. Cool huh. I suggest GMA contemplates on having a local Ultra Man or Magma Man for good measure.
Dennis Trillo was given the biggest break (huh? really?) via this upcoming TV series to play the title role of Zaido (I object! This is crap. Dennis is better off playing a gay role in Aishite Mashu). The series is expected to air late-August or early-September.
This is the reason why I don’t like GMA so much. I am not saying I am a Kapamilya fan or something. I just know when to give credit when credit is due. Yun lang po.

mmmmmmm…It’s what the people want so GMA7 is giving it to them. Anong gusto mo? Drama? Babad na nga tayo sa trabaho at stress tapos tapos iyakan pa ang makikita mo sa TV pag-uwi ngeks. Kaya nga successful lahat ng telefantasya shows ng GMA7 dahil ito ang gusto ng mga tao. They want to be entertained on their time of relaxation and not to be bored with crappy shows na ginaya pa ang intro sa Princess Hours for God’s sake. If you’re eager to see Dennis Trillo that much doing drama then see his soap in the afternoon, he’s currently doing “Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap” where he portrays the role once done by Christopher de Leon. Objectivity? Bakit wala kang write-ups about ABSCBN fantaserye flops, Panday, Rounin, and the upcoming Taong-Lobo to be starred by the closet queen Piolo and “no credit iside” hahaha Angel…fantasy shows is not EBS’ (as in ebak) forte so goodluck nlang…the trilogy of flops

Lol.. wala na bang maisip ang GMA 7 na ibang palabas?.. laging gaya gaya ng concept?.. gaya ngaun.. gumawa cla ng Filipino Version ni Shaider.. Zaido?.. hek hek hek!.. name palang eh KORNY na.. pati Bida Korny din ^^..

What I don’t like about Zaido is its multiple flaws:
1. The timeline is incompatible with the original. I mean, if this was supposed to be a spin-off/homage to the classic Shaider, they shouldn’t have presented the actors as the “grandchildren” of Shaider. I mean, grandfathers are supposed to be fifty or sixty years old when their grandchildren were BORN, what more when the grandchildren are in their 20′s? The writers of this show should have thought about that.
2. There were presence of characters or elements from other franchise. I swear, when I saw Commander Zion, I immediately thought “It’s Bison of Streetfighter!” and the BADGE! God, it looked very similar to the communication device in Star Trek!
I don’t know if the production staff are losing their creativity but, they should be reminded that there’s such thing as COPYRIGHT.
3. The show is reeking with loveteams. I read somewhere from the show’s insider that the reason why they wrote multiple liaisons is because we Filipinos love the Crisostomo Ibarra-Maria Clara loveteam in every form of entertainment. I acknowledge that we’re Filipinos and I’m proud of what I am. But, many remember that Shaider became a hit eventhough there’s more emphasis on battles with monsters and there’s only little hint of Alexis and Annie’s chemistry. I don’t see why we have to put more emphasis on he-loves-her-she-loves-this-that just to make it a hit.
4. In the previous interviews, director Dominic Zapata said that Zaido is the updated version–but why are the costumes so crappy? Why speak endless meaningless tirade of Scientific jargon when a little research in the part of the writers can help establish scientific truth in the story? Why? Why?
Many Shaider fans are displeased with the treatment. If GMA greenlit this show for us, why are they continuing this crap instead of improving the show? Aside from that, they continue to ignore our complaints. Didn’t they know that turning a deaf ear only weakens the show’s credibility?
Hay naku, that’s why i dont watch this show because i know all along that this is gonna happen. I’m sick and tired of ka-OAhan so pasensya na. Just enjoy na bulges na lang and dont expect na maganda ang estorya. Hahahaha!

To our gay friends (frankly, I respect your sexual preference, you’re generally cool and most of you are good friends to us females), don’t watch Zaido because of the bulges. If you want to see some huge BULGES and not fake ones made of socks or stuff, a little click on the net to gay porn sites will be the better alternative. JUST DON’T WATCH THIS SHOW!
More garbage from GMA-7 it seems. I’ve given up on watching local programs altogether because of rubbish like this, and just isolate myself to the news. Want quality programming?
Get cable, or download a decent anime. I recommend PlanetEs – there’s more plot and science in one episode than Zaido will ever have during its entire run. You know it’s pathetic when a live-action series flops in the face of a “cartoon.” meant for the same target age bracket
