Wilma Galvante speaks out about Angel Locsin’s move to ABS-CBN

Well, at last someone credible enough to speak about the rumored transfer of Angel Locsin from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN. Wilma Galvante, GMA Network’s Senior Vice President for Entertainment, has finally spoken up and gave her reactions to the issue on Showbiz Central, a GMA shobiz talkshow. Galvante confirmed that Angel Locsin, together with her manager Becky Aguila, and her father Mr. Angel Colmenares, are still in talks with the ABS-CBN management. Angel is officially leaving GMA-7.

You can watch the video after the jump to know more about the issue. I just feel that moving to ABS is not a very wise decision for Angel. ABS has already got a lot of female talents and Angel will surely expect to be treated like a queen once the transfer is realized. ABS though has the advantage now considering that taking Angel in would mean more viewers tuning in to the channel’s shows where Angel would appear.

I don’t know. I hope Angel can still get through this unscratched. But I’m afraid bad things are gonna happen to her career once the decision is made. I really leaving GMA would shaken Angel’s career.

i’ve been an angel locsin fanatic when she’s still in gma7 but now that she’ll transfer to abs-cbn, i don’t think i will still be there to be fan since i am a solid kapuso. i just hope di siya malaos dun!

hayy ktapat pla tlg ng loyalty ay pera… surely, mas mtaas ang offer sa knya kea pmayag lumipat sa kabila… wla pla ciang utang na loob… sayang, im a fan of her pa nman… for sure di na mxado mppansin don kc dmi ng talents na andun eh unlike sa kapuso na lagi xang may exposure… hay sayang tlg… i just hope d xa mgsisi like assunta hehe gudluck to her

i have followed angel’s career, but now that she is moving to ABS, I am terribly disappointed. Talagang nowadays loyalty is a rare virtue. i am not judging her - di ko naman siya kilala nang lubusan - but from where i stand and i think i am entitled to my own opinion - parang di maganda yung ginawa niya. talagang maraming talents sa kabila - para sa akin mas gugustuhin ko kahit nasa maliit na bahay lang ako ako naman ang reyna - kesa lumipat nya ako sa palasyo - isa lang naman akong dama…

i’m not really a fan but i watch her every now and then… its just mind boggling to even ponder why on her top of her career at GMA she would agree to move on to the other side of the fence. but i guess they have their own reasons, it is a bit boring to stay with the usual, sometimes you do need to take a risk and see whats in store for you out there. so i give her props for that!!! BUT she should have atleast taken the risk of going up to the public and announcing this properly. take it as it is,don’t be defensive and don’t try to hide it and give the exclusive to the other side and at least have the courtesy to say I’M SORRY. too bad for angel all she does is act, she can’t sing, dance, or even host and she can’t even face her own… whatever…

im a fan of angel locsin pero ngayun na lumipat na sya ang sama nya…. sya na yung pinakamasamang artista nahh. siguro di nya alam yung word na LOYALTY ….well gudluck n lng sa carreer nya sana disya pabayaan ng abs.. but i think magsisis rin sya …gud lukck n lng angel
