Tiyanaks is another pinoy horror flick that is coming in theaters this July 4. The film casts Rica Peralejo, Karel Marquez, JC De Vera, and the return of Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras tandem. Geez, does the pair still click?

Anyway, this movie is the first horror movie of Direk Mark Reyes so let’s hope and pray that this won’t suck. Well, as what we have seen from Sukob, Feng Shui, and Sigaw, pinoy horror movies have improved quite a lot. I hope Direk Mark attempts to raise the bar a lot higher this time. Another hollywood remake offer on a pinoy horror flick won’t hurt, would it?
