Grendel Alvarado, a 22-year-old nursing student from Bacolod, is the grand winner of the recently concluded Philippines’ Next Top Model competition.

Aside from the PNTM crown, Grendel will also receive a package of fabulous prizes that include: a modeling representation with Starz Modeling Agency in Hong Kong, half a million pesos in cash, courtesy of Mane and Tail Shampoo; an 8-page fashion editorial in Summit Media’s Preview magazine, a Php150K modeling contract with Saga Events, one-year endorsement contract from Celine group of companies, local advertorials campaign for L’Oreal Paris for one year, one-year body countouring program from Marie France and one-year complimentary treatment from Facial Care Center, and a natural golden South Sea pearl necklace from Jewelmer, plus the title “Jewelmer’s Pearl Ambassador to the World.”

Whew! Hmmm, she does that strange look that every famous model has. I even think she could model for a horse shampoo and look perfect in it. Congrats Grendel!
